KEY WEST COUNTRY-STYLE RIBS
Plan ahead for this, and use your slow-cooker. These are yummy and if you're careful with the habanero sauce, they won't be too hot (try Tabasco Brand Habanero Sauce---it's a lovely blend!).
Heat Scale: Medium to Medium-Hot (unless you really kick it up)

2 1/2 pounds country-style pork ribs
1/4 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup barbecue sauce
1 teaspoon grated orange peel
1 teaspoon grated lime peel
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1/4 cup orange juice
2 tablespoons lime juice
1/2 teaspoon habanero sauce -- optional
Place ribs into 3-1/2 or 4-quart slow cooker. In a small bowl, combine remaining ingredients; mix well and pour over the ribs. Cover and cook on Low 7-9 hours. Serve with sauce spooned over the ribs.
